Workshop: Creativity Matters for Business, for Change, and for Good
Synopsis: Cannes Lions Global Head of Innovation, Rob Dembitz, will examine the impact of creativity and, more importantly, why it matters. He’ll explore the themes that emerged from Cannes Lions 2016 – showcasing the award-winning work and illuminating talks – and unpick what’s captivating the industry right now as well as what it means for the year ahead. The keynote presentation will demonstrate the direct link between creative excellence in communications and commercial success. Ultimately, how creativity is a driving force for business, for change and for good.
Rob Dembitz is the Global Head of Innovation at Cannes Lions and sits on the Executive Team.
Dembitz began his career at M&C Saatchi in their new media team, eMCSaatchi, before taking a different path into financial services. After studying for a MBA at London Business School, he joined GI Partners, a private equity firm and then moved to join the Terra Firma restructuring team at EMI.
Dembitz has led the development and launch of Lions Health, Lions Innovation and Lions Entertainment. He has overall responsibility for Lions Innovation and works across the business to integrate the world of tech, from start-ups to major tech companies, into the business.
