Paul Lavoie co-founded TAXI, one of Canada’s most successful advertising agencies. Lavoie oversaw the expansion of the TAXI network to six offices across Canada and the US, as well as the sale of the company to the WPP network.
Lavoie was selected as one of the 10 most influential marketing pioneers in Canada over the past century, was the youngest inductee in the Canadian Marketing Hall of Fame, and has received five lifetime achievement awards. He is a past president of the Art Directors Club of New York and is active on the boards of HEC Montréal Business School, the Virginia Commonwealth University Brandcenter in Richmond.
His short film, Dear Theo played at The National Gallery of Canada, and last year, his latest paintings were exhibited in galleries in Montréal and Toronto.
In 2016, Lavoie and his family created VoilaFoundation.org which provides creative thinking and financial support to help solve issues affecting society.
