In this presentation, David Beebe will share insights on the state of media, how creative and content plays a critical role, and how OOH advertisers can capture attention and are more important than ever in the multichannel ecosystem.
David Beebe is an entertainment veteran, content marketing executive, and producer, whose innovative work has received two Emmy awards. Known as a change-agent, Beebe has a proven track record of building and leading industry disruptive media businesses, content studios, and creative marketing organizations for media companies, global brands, and startups.
In 2016, AdWeek named Beebe a Top 10 Marketing Creative and a Branded Content Master for his work in leading global teams responsible for the strategic and creative development of creative and content that wins the hearts, minds, and wallets of next generation consumers. And in 2017, Ad Age named Beebe to their 40 under 40 list of marketers making an impact.
Most recently, Beebe as VP, Global Creative + Content Marketing at Marriott International, where he led and created the Marriott Creative Agency, Marriott Content Studio, and M Live, the companies real time brand newsroom marketing group. Beebe led a team of over 120 creative marketers across offices in Washington, DC, London, Hong Kong, and Dubai responsible for global creative and content marketing for Marriott International’s 30 brands. MIPTV named Marriott Brand of the Year based on the creative and content produced by the studio.
A 15-year entertainment industry veteran, Beebe founded the Disney/ABC Television Group Digital Studio, where he led all creative and content development for short-form programming and live programming across digital platforms. In 2011, Beebe was recognized by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for leading the digital video group that produced the Emmy Award-winning 83rd Oscars Digital Experience, and in 2008, for product managing the Emmy Award-winning Full Episode Player for ABC.com.
He also launched a digital studio with America’s Funniest Home Videos creator Vin Di Bona, produced DVD content for Showtime and led content for DIRECTV.com. As a producer, Beebe most recently was EP on “I’m Having What Phil’s Having” a travel show on PBS.
An industry thought leader and keynote speaker, Beebe has spoken at conferences including MIPTV, Content Marketing World, NATPE, Advertising Club, VidCon, Contently Summit, Digital LA, and CMO Institute about the changing media landscape, content marketing strategies, and transforming brands into media companies to win the hearts, minds, and wallets of next generation consumers.
